Dawn Hosein, MD

Dawn Hosein, MD, attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Colorado-Anschutz. Dr. Hosein is board certified in Internal Medicine. She joined Inpatient Physician Associates in 2021.

After working as a Hospitalist in Denver, Dr. Hosein knew she wanted to return to Nebraska. She is excited to work at IPA as it has a reputation of outstanding clinicians, as well as strong Midwestern work ethics and charm. As a Hospitalist, she understands that she often meets patients at their emotional and physical lows. She approaches each patient by not just treating their medical conditions but also to help make their difficult day a little easier.

Dr. Hosein grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She and her husband Jeremy, a neurosurgeon in Lincoln, are parents to sons Theodore, age 3, and Carter, age 1, and their Irish Terrier, Max. When not raising her toddlers, Dr. Hosein enjoys napping, doing yoga, cooking, and watching The Office.
