Abby Soterin, MD, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry at Doane College in Crete, NE. Post-graduate, Dr. Soterin spent two years studying nucleic acid research which led to a manuscript publication involving DNA polymerase.

Realizing her passion was in medicine, Dr. Soterin attended the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha, NE which is also where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She has been board-certified in Internal Medicine since 2014 at which time she joined Inpatient Physician Associates. She currently participates in several committees throughout the hospital including the Bryan Health Mortality and Morbidity Committee. She has also completed Bryan Health Leadership Academy which involved nine months of leadership-oriented classes at UNL.

Dr. Soterin grew up in Glenvil, NE. She and her husband, Andrew, are parents to three boys. She carries a true passion to help and care for those in need. When not at work, she enjoys traveling and camping with her family and aspires to camp in all 50 states. She is also an avid knitter and quilter and is always up for a girls quilting weekend.
