Jayne Robbins, APRN
Jayne Robbins, APRN, received her nursing diploma from Bryan Health College of Health Sciences in 2003, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2006, both in Lincoln, NE. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE with a Master of Science in Nursing. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Jayne worked within the Bryan Health system for 12 years in OR and ER settings prior to becoming a health care provider in a Southeast Nebraska rural community. She held this position for 3 years before joining IPA in 2013. She created and led an E-Transitionalist program utilizing telemedicine from 2019-2023 with a focus on providing follow up care to patients discharged from the hospital to SNFs/Critical Access Hospitals. Since 2019, she has been a consistent Triagist for IPA; assisting providers from outside hospitals transfer patients to Bryan Medical Center (BMC) for specialized medical care.
In 2024, she was named the inaugural Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Director of BMC, where she has spent over 25 years of her career. She is now in her third year of APP administrative leadership and participates in several committees throughout the hospital. Jayne completed the Physician Leadership Academy which involved 9 months of leadership-oriented classes in conjunction with the UNL’s College of Business. In addition to her APP leadership responsibilities, she continues her clinical practice with IPA on a full-time basis.
Jayne was raised in Grand Island, NE. She and her husband have three children, and she spends most of her free time with family.
